Responsible Volunteering
We ensure that we do not engage in unskilled placements that involve vulnerable children such as orphans, as these placements often cause more harm than good. We also do not offer placements that replace local resources for example – teachers. Any teaching placements are extra-curricula so that volunteers are not taking the place of local staff. We take responsible volunteering seriously.
